A great way to partner with the IPA is sponsoring an event or service that supports school building leaders. Available IPA sponsorships are listed below. Some are suited to partial sponsorships. Ed Leaders Network ($100,000) (4 partial sponsorships of $20,000 each available)
The Ed Leaders Network (ELN) is founded on the belief that educational leaders impact adult and student performance in their learning communities. The ELN supports educators by equipping and encouraging them with high quality, on-demand professional development webinars, videos and trainings as well as a professional learning network of peers and experts from across the United States. The ELN has been developed through a collaborative effort between 13 Principals Associations in 10 states. Current affiliates include: IL (IPA), IN (IASP), KY (KAESP), MI (MEMSPA/MASSP), MN (MESPA/MASSP), MO (MAESP/MASSP), OH (OASSA),VT (VPA), WA (AWSP), and WI (AWSA). This sponsorship includes your company’s logo on the loading screen that appears before each video; listed on the ELN partner page of the ELN website with a link to your website; placement in the ELN homepage rotator; your logo and link to your website in all ELN weekly broadcast emails to ELN members; and your logo placed on all ELN marketing material.
IPA Administrator Academies ($50,000) (5 partial sponsorships of $10,000 each available)
The Administrators' Academy (AA) is a program in which school district administrators participate to meet legislated requirements for continuous high-quality professional development. All Illinois administrators must take an Academy each year and are required to acquire accredited Professional Development (PD) Hours. The IPA is the largest Academy provider in the state offering more than 100 annually. Academies and PD Hours are delivered in a variety of ways: Traditional Face-to-Face Academies are for those who enjoy this style of learning; Online Academies offer the opportunity to get AA credit and PD Hours without having to leave the building; Blended Learning PD provides on-site, face-to-face while enhancing the learning curve with extended, virtual online training; CoWeb PD is a modified "face-to-face" training in the building while interacting simultaneously online with the presenter and other districts; and District Site PD allows schools to select the specific PD they want when they want it without having to leave the building. With this sponsorship, you will reach over 4000 educators who attend IPA Academies in addition to thousands of visits to the IPA website each month. Your logo will be displayed on each Academy information page on our website and on a slide shown at each Academy. There will also be a sign at each face-to-face event. You will receive recognition in the quarterly PD update that is mailed to 20,000 educators. Additionally, sponsors are recognized in the Education Marketplace which is a resource mailed to our 5200 members each year and is available on the IPA website. You will also be listed as an IPA Partner and receive a link from our website to yours.
IPA Connect e-Groups ($25,000)
IPA Connect e-Groups are discussion forums that provide members a platform to communicate with colleagues regarding best practices, advice, and education related trends. When you sponsor IPA Connect, your logo (linked back to your website) will be on each message sent through IPA Connect's e-discussion groups touching thousands of educational leaders daily. Your logo will be on the IPA Connect homepage, the Partner page of the IPA website, and you will be listed as Platinum Sponsor in IPA's Education Marketplace*.
Annual Conferences ($500 - $20,000)
The IPA offers two professional conferences: The Education Leaders Fall Conference and Exhibition and the Educational Leaders Summer Conference. Approximately 675 building administrators from all over the State attend the Fall Conference which occurs October 16-18 this year in Springfield, IL. Summer Conference occurs June 9-10 this year and attendance is expected to be approximately 125 people. Sponsorship opportunities are available for both Conferences and include a wide variety of options including (but not limited to): sponsoring a masseuse in the exhibit hall (Fall Conference); a mobile device charging station; cash prizes (Fall Conference); social media lounge; coffee breaks; desserts; continental breakfasts; centerpieces; a donation to the General Conference Fund; backpacks and school supplies for students in need (Summer Conference); and more. Conference sponsorships provide you great exposure. You get a link from the Conference page on IPA’s website to yours; recognition on the conference app, Education Marketplace*, and in an issue of the IPA e-newsletter after the event. You also get the opportunity to distribute your literature/materials and greet people at the event you sponsor. $5000+ sponsors also get signage at the Conference and $10,000+ sponsors receive mic time at a General Session.
Advocacy in Action ($10,000)
Advocacy in Action is an e-publication sent weekly to IPA’s 5000+ members and archived on IPA’s public website. It examines policy and information from the state and federal levels of government. Each issue includes action from the past week at the Il¬linois State Capitol including topics such as pension reform, proposed legislation, and other policies related to mandates, taxes, and school funding. It also provides information from the U.S. Department of Education and our national affiliates, NAESP and NASSP, on policy proposals from Capitol Hill. In addition, this publication highlights information relevant to building leaders from the State Superintendent’s Weekly Message. The sponsor will receive a button ad in the lower right-hand corner of the footer of this e-publication that links to the sponsor’s website. Sponsors are also listed on the Partner page of IPA’s public website with a link to your website and listed in the Education Marketplace*.
PrinciPal e-Newsletter ($10,000)
The PrinciPal is an e-publication sent weekly via e-mail to IPA’s 5000+ members that provides updates on timely educational topics. As a sponsor of the PrinciPal, your logo with a link to your website will be included in the broadcast e-mail each week. The PrinciPal (including your logo), is archived on the IPA public website. You will also be listed on the Partner page of IPA’s public website with a link to your website and listed as a partner in IPA’s Education Marketplace*.
Model Student Handbook ($10,000)
IPA’s Model Student Handbook is an on-line service that provides building leaders student handbook policies aligned to state and federal law as well as model school board policy developed by the Illinois Association of School Boards. It is updated every three months. With this sponsorship, you receive recognition on each page of the Model Student Handbook website as well as on all promotional material; your logo will also be on the Partner page of the IPA website with a link to your website and you receive a listing in the Education Marketplace*.
Principal Appreciation Week/Day ($10,000 - partial sponsorship of $5,000 available)
You are invited to support National Principals Month which culminates with Principal Appreciation Week October 17th through the 21st and Principal Appreciation Day on October 21st in Illinois. This state-endorsed occasion honors the work and commitment of principals, assistant principals, deans and other building leaders in schools throughout Illinois. Parents, school staff, and the community at-large are asked to perform some act(s) of appreciation to acknowledge the leadership provided by these educational leaders. Your sponsorship will help fund a mailing sent to all Illinois building administrators that thanks them for their hard work and a press release that is sent to all newspapers in Illinois about the occasion. With this sponsorship your logo will appear on the mailing and your name will be included in the press release. Your logo will also be on the Partner page of the IPA website with a link to your website and you will receive a listing in the Education Marketplace*.
Salary, Fringe Benefit, and Career Plan Study ($2,500)
The IPA annually surveys and studies the salaries and benefits of educational leaders throughout Illinois. Data is collected every fall, and a physical research report is provided to IPA Members every spring. This sponsorship includes a full page ad in the research report; your logo and relevant company information on the salary study page of the IPA Website with a link to your website; your logo with a link to your website on the online survey; your company’s name listed on the partner page of the IPA website with a link to your website; and a listing in the Education Marketplace*.
New Leader Webinars ($3,000)
The IPA is offering an opportunity for new school leaders to gain the knowledge and skills needed to excel through our New Leaders Webinar Series. Over the course of 9 monthly webinars delivered throughout the school year, new leaders will learn about building relationships, setting priorities, and growing as a leader. This sponsorship includes your logo in the opening and closing of each webinar; your organization’s name mentioned linking to your website on e-mails sent to new IL administrators; your company’s name listed on the partner page of the IPA website with a link to your website; and a listing in the Education Marketplace*.
Legislative and Case Law Review ($2,500)
This annual printed publication provides IPA members (over 5000) relevant changes to state and federal law that will impact a school’s day-to-day operations. This sponsorship includes a full page ad in the publication; your company’s name listed on the partner page of the IPA website with a link to your website; and a listing in the Education Marketplace*.
Board of Directors Meetings ($1,000 each)
IPA Board Meetings are held quarterly – January, April, July & October. This sponsorship provides lunch for the 50 member board with the opportunity to present a 10 minutes and distribute your organization’s materials. You will also be listed on the partner page of the IPA website and be listed in the Education Marketplace*.
New Leader Symposium ($1,000)
This two-day event which is approved for Administrator Academy credit, is for school administrators new to their job to learn and develop the skills they need. The first day is designed to explore the strategies and tools necessary to avoid common pitfalls of the job. The second day provides a systemic approach to time management and to learn how to make their year less stressful. Participants receive two outstanding books on school leadership. There is a Networking Reception at the end of day one; breakfast and lunch are provided both days. Your sponsorship helps support new administrators succeed in their jobs. Attendance at this event has been approximately 75. You will have the opportunity to meet these new administrators at the reception and provide a brief presentation as well as distribute your organization’s materials. You will also be listed on the partner page of the IPA website and be listed in the Education Marketplace*.
