Leaders who are global minded create an environment that builds, models, and endorses a global-minded perspective for all stakeholders through the promotion of cultural diversity, partnerships, and community connections. Course participants will increase their proficiency to build and promote a global-minded awareness for students and staff; promote cultural diversity; and develop and implement a personal growth plan with strategies, implementation timelines, evaluation, and a monitoring process based on a cycle of inquiry. Successful completion of this course creates a foundation for learners interested in pursuing the Exemplifying a Global-Minded Culture and/or the Embedding a Global-Minded Culture Micro-Credentials.
