In the Instruction course, participants will be able to provide resources and support that enable teachers to implement effective, research-based instructional strategies; observe classroom instruction and provide data-informed, timely feedback that intentionally supports teacher strengths as well as areas for growth; implement practices and procedures that allow for instructional collaboration and build a shared instructional philosophy that identifies nonnegotiable elements of instructional expectations for all students; and provide structures and processes that ensure congruency between instructional content, instructional methods, and assessment. Successful completion establishes a foundation for those interested in pursuing the Providing Effective Instruction, Promoting Collaborative Instruction, and Ensuring Instructional Alignment Micro-Credentials.
