This academy examines how to recognize, analyze, and reduce bias and behaviors of microaggression in the classroom. The course will address different types of racism, empathy, privilege, bias and systems vs. symbols. Throughout the course participants will develop an application dissemination implementation plan that will analyze and identify personal and professional practices to reduce racism in the classroom.
